404 - page not found

404 - page not found

Hello.

When i put .htaccess (after ape istallation) in the site folder - i ve recieved an 404 error. If i remove .htaccess file - the site start working fine. But with .htaccess - it gives error.

Please help. I need mod_rewrite to work.

Hello,

Lets try to debug a little. Here is the article regarding Drupal and ISAPI_Rewrite(or Ape) collaboration.
It basically leaves you with just the ending of your config file. Lets try to do that first and see what happens. Make sure you followed the article.

In case it still doesn't help, please, provide the rewrite.log for the testing request. To enable logging, please, uncomment the following lines in your httpd.conf:
