Hi.
MySQL gems on Windows always come with a slight “bitter taste” :-(
I’ve had enough trouble with it in the past and decided to use PostgreSQL.

However there are ways to get MySQL working. Please see this answer:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5775 ... 94#7313694

Please provide all log files from the “log” folder of your application. Also clarify your MySQL version and mysql2 gem version. Thank you.

I managed to setup Redmine on Windows 7 utilizing MySQL, Apache, and Mongrel, yet when I attempted to introduce a similar setup on Windows Server, I experienced a wide range of issues with RoR and MySQL, so I chose to setup on CentOS, assignment writing uk which is the thing that we use for our generation web facilitating in any case.
