Helicon Ape Not working

01 May 2015, 18:13

Hello,

After some setup issues I got the trial version to work and all of the sudden it stopped. I wasn't sure if it was expired but we went ahead and purchased a Site License but after installing it it still wouldn't work. I get the login prompt but after inputting the username and password it shows the prompt again and doesn't let me continue.

Please assist!

Thanks!

Hello,

Please provide some more details about your situation:

- your OS
- screenshot of your License Manager
- error.log records
- how do you want it to work: what should be requested and how it should processed?
- what rules do you currently have?

Hello,

OS: Windows Server 2008 R2
License Manager: Attached
Error Logs: Not sure which one you're talking about
How it should work: Before when it was working it was prompting the user for username and password with a popup box
Rules: I have not changed the default

If you can do a shared screen and take a quick look that would be great.

Thanks

So now the login screen is coming up but it's not authenticating against the .htpasswd file..

Hello,

You suggestion of online meeting session makes sense.
Please send me the access credentials to [email protected] and indicate the date/time (and your timezone) suitable for you.
If there is a possibility of remote desktop connection, it may be even more convenient, as then we wouldn't need to match the timezones.

Meanwhile, you can also provide error.log from Ape install folder.
