Issues with LinkFreeze on IIS7
Hi
We are upgrading to IIS7 from IIS6
We have one simple LinkFreeze rule:
LinkFreezeRule /// "aspx=html" [AbsLinks, MoveExt]
This works fine for
www.site.com/default.aspx which translates to www.site.com/default.htm
But
www.site.com/page.aspx?function=value failes with www.site.com/default.html?aspxerrorpath ... tion/.aspx
Any idea where we are going wrong ?
We are running latest build and .net 4.5.2

Please enable logging in httpd.conf by putting
LogLevel debug
and provide any related error.log records that you get when checking the page.
Also, please try using some other separator character, e.g. ~~~
And report if it changes the behavior.

Re: Issues with LinkFreeze on IIS7
Hi
Is it possible to email or post the logfile private ? I do not want to post the file here.
When replacing with --- instead of /// the pages works just fine.

Hello,
>Is it possible to email or post the logfile private?
I don't think there is a need for that, because:
>When replacing with --- instead of /// the pages works just fine.
It means that the problem is not related to LinkFreeze.
It's because you are using a confusing separator character that LinkFreeze is unable to distinguash folder structure separation from LinkFreeze separators.
Please consider using other characters, like ~~~ or ---.
