Multiple instance of redmine on iis

Hello,

I'm trying to install multiple redmine on the same server, it's on iis 7.

I duplicated the first redmine installed and placed it in an another directory. The twa works correctly but sometimes one or both of the site goes slow and return error message like this:

"The page cannot be displayed because the client took too long to complete its request and the server closed the connection."

Is there a way to make 2 instances of redmine works correctly on the same server? I think i made something wrong but don't know what.

Instead of copying one instance of Redmine you probably need to install new instance of Redmine using Web Platfrom Installer. Redmine is configured during installation and probably some settings may accidentaly be shared if you simply copy one installation into new location on same server. Just try clean install first.

Thanks for the tips but i have tried with a clean version but the problem is the same.

Then the problem seem to be not related to two instances of Redmine. There could be problems with Redmine itself. Please try to identify requests that are failing. Try to read log/zooerror.log is logging is enabled. Maybe this is redmine problem and needs to be asked on Redmine forums?

Agreed. It seems like this problem hasn't been solved yet.
